Our most recent PhD graduate, Dr Xin Lin, visited the research centre and shared his experiences with the current PhD students. During his 10-day stay in Auckland, he worked with Avy Sheina on the hardware in the loop (HIL) simulation of a battery charger in DC Microgrid using OPAL-RT real time simulator and STM32F4 microcontroller. CFPER research students would like to express their sincere thanks to Dr Xin Lin for sharing his insights on the PhD journey.
